Who calculates the CO2 footprint of my product?
There are companies all over the world which will assist you to make
an analysis of the carbon footprint of your product. A list of these
companies will be available soon.
Which labels can I choose?
You can choose any climate-friendly, low-carbon or CO2-neutral
label – even your own. Be aware that some labels require certain
analysis methods for the emissions measurements or that certain types
of certificates are used.
Who can assist me to setup my products with a CO2code?
There will soon be a list available of companies which can assist you in creating your CO2codes. These vary from certificate providers
to companies that provide all-in-one solutions. |
Up to August 2009, the CO2code system is still being tested and can
therefore only be used with certificates from the CarbonFix Standard.
You can purchase CO2certificates from the
CarbonFix Standard by contacting the developers of the climate project
or directly online - see www.CarbonFix.info
Tip: If you want to purchase larger
quantities, contact the developer to negotiate the
price. In comparison to the online prices, these can be of better value.
Together with the CO2certificates from the CarbonFix Standard you will also get an account at the CO2code system, which will then allow you to generate your own CO2codes.
