Project developers can now apply for CFS

Projects that want to go for CarbonFix Standard certification can now create their login account and start uploading their documents. Therefore, the 'Tree Planters' section has been created. Here, it is explained in detail how the CarbonFix Standard and its websystem works.

First CFS certification by the end of July

The Kikonda Forest Reserve (Project ID: UG-KFR) will be visited by the certifier 'TÜV Süd' at the end of July. TÜV will execute a field visit to evaluate the projects activities against the criteria of the CarbonFix Standard. This is the final step in the process of becoming certified with the CarbonFix Standard. In case of a successful certification, the first CO₂-credits (VER_futures) can be purchased from the project developer.

Projects web-information available by mid July

Together with a successful validation, every project receives its own website. Here, all project information can be accessed. Amongst others, this includes the projects documentation, pictures, comments and a Google-maps functions. The CarbonFix Team is currently working on the final layout of the page.
